Hi. My name is Marcel Bückner.

I’m an artist and creative technologist working and researching in the fields of Algorithmic Performances and Context-Specific Narrations at the intersection of installation art, sculpture, experimental film and performance. By superimposing image, light, sound and code, I explore the creation and perception of affective atmospheres, the staging of vital materials and the aesthetics and agency of complex systems.

My work is often based on interdisciplinary collaborations with musicians, writers, performers and scientists. I am co-founder of the collective art studio Xenorama and I’m teaching at the department of communication design at the HTW Berlin.

My projects have been internationally exhibited and repeatedly honoured.
